CardCon 2026: Europe's Biggest TCG Event Returns to Utrecht on November 7-8

Trading card game fans have a date circled on their calendars: November 7-8, 2026, at Jaarbeurs Utrecht in the Netherlands, for the next edition of CardCon. Launched in 2024 alongside the long-running Spellenspektakel gaming fair, CardCon has grown into its own standalone show fully dedicated to TCGs, while still sharing a single ticket with the wider gaming event.

A show built for the whole community

CardCon bills itself as the largest TCG and board game event in Europe. The weekend caters to casual collectors and competitive players alike, with official tournaments, on-demand side events, beginner-friendly activities, and dedicated trading tables where attendees can swap, complete or sell off parts of their collection. Around 250 vendor booths are expected on the show floor, spanning sports cards as well as the major TCGs of the moment.

Tournaments for the biggest franchises

Expect strong representation from Magic: The Gathering, Pokémon, One Piece Card Game, Disney Lorcana, Yu-Gi-Oh!, and Flesh and Blood, among others. Some tournaments are already selling out months in advance — the main One Piece Card Game event on November 8, capped at 256 players, is a good example of the demand building around this year’s edition.

Tickets and access

Organizers offer several ticket types: adult and child day passes, a family pass, and a “Trade Night” pass granting access from 6 to 10 PM for those focused on trading. Advance pricing is notably cheaper than at-the-door rates, and tickets are not sold on site, so early booking is recommended — both for entry and for tournament slots, several of which fill up quickly.

Mark your calendar for early November, as CardCon looks set to be one of the highlights of the European TCG scene in 2026.
