Gala TCG, Europe’s largest trading card game convention, is coming back October 22-25, 2026, as part of Paris Games Week, at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles (Hall 1). This new edition builds on the partnership launched in 2025 between Gala TCG and France’s biggest video game show, which last year drew more than 160,000 visitors.
A story born from passion
Founded in 2019 by Benjamin, Thomas, and Nasser, three longtime friends and collectors operating under the company name Team 7 (a nod to Naruto), Gala TCG was created to fill a gap: France had no event fully dedicated to the trading card game world, whether Pokémon, Magic: The Gathering, One Piece, or other franchises.
Since its first edition in 2022 at Pavillon Vendôme (600 visitors), the show has grown steadily: 2,500 visitors in 2023, 6,000 in 2024 at Espace Champerret, then 8,500 in 2025, alongside a first German edition held in Cologne in 2024. Joining Paris Games Week in 2025 marked a turning point, exposing the convention to a much wider audience.
Asmodee as main sponsor
For the 2026 edition, Asmodee, a major global publisher and distributor of board games and TCGs, becomes the show’s main sponsor. The publisher will occupy a 1,000 m² space entirely dedicated to its brands, featuring hands-on demos, exclusive promo cards, and activities.
What’s on the program
As every year, the convention will feature several themed areas:
- Rare Cards: iconic and ultra-rare pieces showcased by elite collectors and sellers
- Market & Exhibitor Hall: buying, selling and trading with premium sellers, independent shops and publishers
- Artists & Creators: meet-and-greets with illustrators and content creators
- Conferences & Live Shows: panels with industry experts, pro players and influencers
- Community Events: themed meetups and signing sessions
- Try & Play: discover new franchises at dedicated gaming booths
A legendary illustrator expected
Japanese illustrator Masakazu Fukuda, known for his high-energy art style, will attend the show. He has created an exclusive card for the occasion, expected to become a must-have for collectors, with meet-and-greet and signing sessions on the schedule.
A contest featuring PSA 10 One Piece cards
Gala TCG is also running a major contest offering the chance to win three limited-edition One Piece cards, graded PSA 10. To take part, attendees will need to find QR codes hidden across Paris — clues will be shared on the convention’s social media channels.
Tickets are already available on the official Gala TCG website.
