A base set built around 1st Bowman cards
The collection is built around the highly coveted 1st Bowman cards, which mark a player’s very first appearance on an officially licensed card. The 100-card base set brings together established MLB stars alongside emerging rookies, complemented by an additional 100-card Bowman Prospect set dedicated to the league’s future talent.
Fan-favourite inserts return, alongside new series
Several collector favourites make a comeback in this release, starting with Bowman GPK, which reimagines veterans, legends, prospects and rookies as Garbage Pail Kids characters through wild, over-the-top illustrations, as well as Bowman Spotlights and Crystallized, which showcases top rookies and prospects against an agate-inspired background rich in natural crystal textures. Two newcomers add fresh energy to the lineup this year: WBC Flag Variation, honouring players from the 2026 World Baseball Classic with their country’s flag, and Across the Seams.
The return of Bowman Red Rookie Redemption
Another highlight of this release is the return of Bowman Red Rookie Redemption, featuring special short-print Red RCs inserted into both 2026 Bowman Baseball and Bowman Chrome® Baseball. These cards give collectors a fun way to track and reward a player’s career milestones, starting with the MLB Rookie of the Year award, through a FanCash redemption system tied to performance over time.
