Topps is extending its 2026 Major League Soccer season with Topps Chrome® Sapphire MLS 2026, the premium take on 2026 Topps Chrome® MLS. The release is set for October 8 at 2:00 PM (French time, per Topps France), exclusively on EQL, the draw platform Topps uses for its most in-demand launches.
The Sapphire Treatment Comes to MLS
Sapphire takes the foundations of Chrome® and elevates them with its signature Sapphire finish, vivid colors and premium presentation. For this MLS edition, the brand brings together three types of players on its chromium stock:
- The league’s current stars
- Emerging talent, MLS’s next generation
- Legends of North American soccer
Big names highlighted by Topps include Lionel Messi, David Beckham, Antoine Griezmann and Robert Lewandowski.
What to Chase
Sapphire Parallels
Every base card comes in Sapphire, then branches out into increasingly rare colors, all the way up to the highly sought-after Padparadscha.
Infinite Sapphire
The headline insert of the release, announced at roughly one per case. Its Padparadscha version is among the toughest pulls in the entire product.
Autographs
Chrome Autographs also get the Sapphire treatment, with their own range of color parallels.
