🌿 Overview

The twelfth chapter of Disney Lorcana, Wilds Unknown, marks a historic turning point for the Ravensburger-published TCG: it’s the first expansion to feature Pixar licenses. After the icy arc of Chapter 11 (Frosthaven), the Glimmers are cast into mysterious and hostile territories, through which they must find their way back to the Great Illuminary.

🎬 The New Pixar Licenses

This is the big news of this chapter: for the very first time, characters from the Pixar universe join the game alongside classic Disney heroes.

• 🤠 Toy Story — Woody, Buzz Lightyear, Jessie, and the Aliens make their entrance into the Illuminary. The Toy class is introduced, with synergies built around discard pile recycling.
• 💪 The Incredibles — Helen Parr (Elastigirl), Jack-Jack, and the Parr family arrive with the Super class, featuring the Rush and Bonus Action abilities (act the turn they’re played).
• 🏹 Brave — Merida brings her Scottish flair to these wild lands.

The art direction was overseen by Anna Stosik, Senior Art Director, who worked closely with the Pixar studios on exclusive visuals.

The set features 204 main cards (each available in foil), plus:

Each booster pack contains 12 cards, with at least one foil card guaranteed. Enchanted cards have a pull rate of roughly 1 in every 72 boosters.

🆕 New Game Mechanics

Wilds Unknown introduces several strategic innovations:

• Exploration Mechanic — When a character goes on a quest, the top card of the deck is revealed, potentially uncovering hidden items or locations. Favors high-tempo decks.
• Toy Class (Toy Story) — Synergies focused on discard pile recycling and Actions. E.g.: Jessie draws a card if 2+ Toys are in play.
• Super Class (The Incredibles) — Rush and Bonus Action abilities for aggressive, immediate gameplay.
